NextRoll, Inc. and its business divisions, AdRoll and RollWorks (collectively, "NextRoll"), help businesses serve ads that aim to be timely and relevant to the interests of its consumers. To serve these "targeted" ads, NextRoll uses cookies and other technologies to collect data about your browsing activities when you visit the sites of businesses that work with us.

You may "opt-out" of our use of these technologies according to the following instructions on this page. The opt-out process is different for browsers and mobile devices.

The "Opt-Out" button below is for the web browser opt-out only.

Please note some important details about opting-out on your web browser:

  • When you click "Opt-Out", the request may take up to 24 hours to process in our system. You can change your mind at any time and opt out by visiting our Privacy Notice.
  • If you delete or clear your cookies you will need to opt out again.
  • If you update your browser you will need to opt out again.
  • Opt-outs are specific to the browser you use: if you use multiple browsers, you will need to opt out on each browser.
  • The opt out may not function in browsers, such as Safari, that block or delete cookies.
  • If you opt out using the Safari browser and later download an app that uses non-cookie technology, you may need to opt-out again after downloading the app that uses non-cookie technology. Alternatively, you can "Limit Ad Tracking" or "Opt out of interest-based advertising" according to the Mobile Opt-Out instructions for your device (described below).
  • Even after opting out, you may continue to receive advertising that is either not targeted or not served by NextRoll.
  • After you opt out, data we have collected about your browser will be disassociated from your device.
  • Please note that if you delete, block or otherwise restrict cookies, or if you use a different computer or Internet browser, you should renew your opt-out choice.

Why does the web browser opt-out have these limitations? Our opt-out logic places a single cookie with the value "opt_out" for our systems to know that they should ignore you. For this to work your browser must accept cookies. If you have set your browser to not accept cookies then we cannot implement your opt-out. Mobile Opt-Out

To opt-out of receiving targeted ads that are based on your behavior across different mobile applications follow the below instructions, for iOS and Android devices:

  • iOS 7 or Higher: Go to your Settings › Select Privacy › Select Advertising › Enable the "Limit Ad Tracking" setting; and
  • For Android devices with OS 2.2 or higher and Google Play Services version 4.0 or higher: Open your Google Settings app › Select Ads › Enable "Opt-out of interest-based advertising"

Industry Opt-Out Tools

The online advertising industry provides websites from which you may opt-out of interest-based advertising from NextRoll and other companies that participate in industry self-regulatory programs.

Similar to NextRoll's web browser Opt-Out tool above, the industry opt-out tools listed also use cookies and similar technology to work.
